U S to the A

This is the long awaited blog I have been meaning to write but haven't had the time to... until now. Oh & they take so long to write... but here we go.
A compressed busy week with Final examination, exam preparation, revision, Shane departing earlier (so include his packing, final bills to pay), packing and stress finally came to an end for the remaining months.
The last final exam was finally over and I could spend the night partying with my friends and packing for the dreaded 14 hour flight the next day to LA, but I couldn't wait. $5,000 shopping money, near empty luggage ready to be filled, plus I miss him and more than ever, I was ready for a holiday, a getaway.

L.A
"THE JOINT"

The long 14 hours of incommodious seating, neck cramp, bland food and discomfort took a descent in LAX airport. I spent the last hour on the flight dolling up knowing that Shane would be there to pick me up (cause you know, no-one ever looks good after a 14 hour flight unless they tried to... and I did. ha ha) and I wanted to present to him that THIS is what he's been missing. HAHA
I landed early, rushed through customs and picked up my luggage as it was one of the first because I was one of the last to check-in in Sydney, you know me. I was out in fresh air, out in LA, the rain was heavy and the morning was chilly, but 20mins went by, and my frustration slowly built up, I had no form of contact with any of them but only hoped they knew where to pick me up, but all subsided when I saw Shane amongst the crowd searching, I really missed him and I smiled to myself knowing he made an effort that morning to freshen up. We depart the airport in the pouring rain (you would think straight home, but no) through Boulevards/Highways to DISNEYLAND CALIFORNIA, when we arrived the sun came out, the rain stopped and the misty/dewy morning chills dissipated, the day was beautiful and I was greeted by majority of Shane's cousin and Uncles/Aunts.
I couldn't be happier, I was with my mister on the other side of the world at an amazing land of Disney, you know what happens there, tons of food, rides, laughters, photos, more rides and performances. Unforgettable.
